About Serenity

Though Senerity Wilde’s stage name suggests a peaceful state, Serenity insists that spending time with her will be anything but peaceful.  Oddly enough, her own website www.serenity.net seems to perpetuate this calmness—with muted pastel colors, a banner with a tropical scene and dolphins blithely leaping up from the water, and Serenity herself sitting enticingly nude on the sand.

Serenity Wilde was born a dancer.  She started ballet at a young age, and despite the rigidity and conventions required in this traditional dance form, Serenity managed to break out of that mold, adding her own fire to the dance.  By combining the long-practiced fluidity and grace of ballet with spices of her own passions, Serenity became recognized as one of the best dancers in the adult entertainment industry.  Thus, it is of no surprise that Serenity was first roped into the industry precisely because of her dancing.  She competed in the Topless Dancer World Championship in 1993 and won first place, beating over 180 international contestants and becoming the first American to win this competition.  As an added bonus, she won $20,000. Serenity Wilde went on to choreograph and perform in the Adult Video News Awards Show for the next three years in addition to performing at major Las Vegas hotels.

1996 marked an important turn in Serenity Wilde’s career. She negotiated and secured contracts in which she controlled every aspect of production.  She had complete say in the script, the talent, the director, the review, and even the final edit of each movie project.  Aside from the movie projects Serenity Wilde went into mainstream media by hosting “King of All Media” Howard Stern’s birthday party in 1998 on E! Television. Though she only had a couple seconds between each break to conduct interviews, Serenity successfully interviewed several major stars, earning her the nickname “One Take Serenity.” Though retired from performing in adult films, she frequently updates her personal website and continues to thrive in the limelight.
